If Carlsberg made dry flies this would probably be the best in the world ........
After spending some time in Poland with Vladi on the River San, I came home and had some different ideas on my dry flies for the river. Sometimes a Jingler is just not enough and sometimes the fish want smaller more delicate dry flies so I have been playing around with different styles and doing pretty well.
Tied using Sheer Wisp thread and 2 top quality CDC feather, and a thorax of Squirrel I think these look great and the fish love them also. I used one recently with great success on the River Tummel in my national heat to secure 2nd spot and a place in the final.
Tied on Top quality Barbless hooks they will be a hit for sure among the river anglers in the UK and abroad.
I have now been using this fly for over 8 years and its still catching strong all over the World. It has been the downfall of many a huge River Clyde Brown trout.
