Staple Diet for the Lake of Mentieth, Cormorants they come in all sizes colours and weird things attached. I stick to three or four in two colours that I am happy with Black and Olive.

I have the Original Cormorants given to me By Graeme Pearson from the winning team ACA Masterline based at Rutland Water.

The thing that stands out from other Cormorants is that they used and still do you use the tips of the Marabou only for the wing, thus giving a spiky effect to the wing, these are the parts of the feather that a lot of people discard as being useless, well now you have a use for it.

All the bodies on my slim cormorants are give 2/3 coats of varnish and allowed to dry completely before the wings are tied in.

IMPORTANT as I tie all these flies myself there is normally a wait time of up 14 weeks so please make sure you leave ample time when you are ordering. If you require them quicker then please contact me first.
