These strips are much more stretchy and have the advantage that they are dull on one side and shiny on the other side. So you can use both sides to produce different results, I really do like these and they stretch well.
Top Tip when using shell backs like this, after you stretch it and tie it in, make sure you whip finish your thread after trimming the excess or you will find that you cut the shellback, your thread drops off the eye of the hook and then you have a very short piece to try and stretch and get tied back in, fail safes.
